hillary clinton

If I was eligible to vote I would vote for Hillary Clinton. She is a very good candidate but let’s focus on her issues abortion, education, and guns. More than 33,000 Americans are killed by guns each year. It’s time to act. As President, I'll take on the gun lobby and fight for commonsense reforms to keep guns away from terrorists, domestic abusers, and other violent criminals including comprehensive background checks and closing loopholes that allow guns to fall into the wrong hands. Hillary Clinton said after the Pulse nightclub shooting that, “If you are too dangerous to get on a plane, you are too dangerous to buy a gun in America.” That’s Hillary Clinton’s opinion on guns & something she needs to get better on at president. Politicians have no business interfering with women's personal health decisions.

I will oppose efforts to roll back women's access to reproductive health care, including Republican efforts to defund Planned Parenthood. As president, I'll stand up for Planned Parenthood and women’s access to critical health services, including safe, legal abortion.

As president, I'll work to ensure every child from every ZIP code has access to a world class education, including access to high quality preschool. We need to strike the right balance on testing with fewer, fairer and better tests for elementary and secondary school students. And we must support teachers with the training and resources they need.

I feel as that I agree that abortion is none of the governments business. "This is such a profoundly difficult question and what I have said and what I continue to believe is that the states have proven themselves incapable of carrying out fair trials that give any defendant all the rights that a defendant should have , all the support that the defendant's lawyer should have. And I've said, I would breathe a sigh of relief if either the Supreme Court or the states themselves began to eliminate the death penalty. Where I end up is this, and maybe it's a distinction that's hard to support, but, at this point, given the challenges we face from terrorist activities, primarily in our country that end up under federal jurisdiction, for very limited purposes, I think it [the death penalty] can still be held in reserve for those. And the kind of crimes I'm thinking of are the bombing in Oklahoma City, where an American terrorist blew up the government building, killing, as I recall, 158 Americans, including a number of children who were in the preschool program. The plotters and the people who carried out the attacks on 9/11. But a very limited use of it in cases where there has sic been horrific mass killings. That's really the exception that I still am struggling with and would only be in the federal system." source source
